Island Escape is a fictional tropical fusion restaurant. For this project, I was assigned to use two cultures of my choice to take inspiration from to create a restaurant. I chose the cultures of Hawaii and Jamaica. Through research about both locations art history as well as research about both locations wildlife and greenery, I created a logo, menu, outdoor advertisements social media advertisements and a to-go bag mockup, for the restaurant. The target audience for Island Escape is mainly adults ages 21-35 looking for a place to kick back and relax like they are on vacation without having to travel.
